Université Côte d'Azur
Université Côte d’Azur has been an experimental university since 1 January 2020, replacing both Université Nice Sophia Antipolis created in 1965 and the Communauté d’Universités et d’Etablissements Université Côte d’Azur created in 2015. Université Côte d’Azur trains over 35,000 students, with more than 100 different nationalities represented.
With over 4,000 people involved in laboratory-based research and projects in partnership with national organisations, the research carried out at Université Côte d’Azur aims to meet major scientific and societal challenges. They cover a broad continuum of goals, approaches and methodologies, from fundamental upstream science to targeted research.
